Spend the evening enjoying live music surrounded by candlelight in various locations around Edmonton. The Listeso String Quartet, a string quartet band that can play all different types of music, will perform the music.

Kids are allowed at this event, and anyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult, but every time I attended a concert, I didn’t spot any kids. Either they were well-behaved or were spending the evening with the babysitter.

When and where? Various events throughout the summer months at 51227 AB-60, Parkland County
27. Snow Valley Aerial Park
Okay, so technically, this isn’t an adult-only attraction in Edmonton. However, I am still including it because it’s cool as hell, and generally, adults can’t partake in attractions like this.
So, climb or crawl to the top of the Snow Valley Aerial Park Tower, where you can swing and step your way through the entire structure. It’s loads of fun to do with friends or on your own. If you are afraid of heights, I recommend skipping this – or facing your fear and doing your best. (That’s what I did!)
So, as noted above, the aerial park does allow children, but they have to be a certain height, and most of them stay near the bottom, so if you climb high enough, you can get away from them.
Book here: Snow Valley Aerial Park

Zoobrew is an Adult-only event in Edmonton. The event includes craft beer, games and live performances.
Why not stroll through the child-free zoo, checking out your favourite animal enclosures without the sounds of screaming children?
Zoo Brew will be back in June 2025.
30. Where Dark Things Dwell – Fort Edmonton Park (Will return in 2025)
Anytime I run around Fort Edmonton Park after hours in the dark, it is fun for me. Why not make it even more exciting by immersing yourself in an outdoor escape room?
The storyline is that the citizens of the small village you have stopped at for the night are trapped by an ancient curse, and you must escape before it consumes you. It gives me The Last of Us vibes (with fewer clickers), but that might be because I am watching that show right now.
This activity is for 14+, but the groups are split up, so there is a high chance you will be in an adults-only group.
Where Dark Things Dwell will be back in 2025.
31. Scream Yourself Silly at Dark (Will Return in 2025)
Halloween lovers rejoice! Fort Edmonton Park throws an incredible pop-up Halloween event called Dark at Fort Edmonton Park.
The haunted house event allows visitors to walk through the park being scared by character actors at various haunts.
It’s one of the best things for adults to do in Edmonton. The park sells craft beer, food, and fear! The adult-only event runs through October.
This event is also 14+, but I go yearly and do not see many young teens. When you are walking through the haunts, it’s usually just you and your group with a few others here and there, but I wanted to give you a heads-up.
Dark will be back in 2025.
